Mean Well 20A Redundancy Module |
Mean Well launches a peripheral module to complement the Mean Well DIN Rail Power Supply family. DR-RDN20 is a 20A redundancy (decoupling) module for 24 volt dc DIN Rail Power Supplies. This module contains 2 sets of 20A ORing diodes. DR-RDN20 provides us with an option for safe connection of 1+1 redundant set up. The DR-RDN20 will decouple power sources from each other as well as the load. In addition, DR-RDN20 also provides users monitoring signals for both input channels. Since there are no switching components within the module, DR-RDN20 will not create any additional EMI issues. 3 years warranty.

Suggested Applications:
1) 1 + 1 Redundancy. Use 1 additional power supply as the redundant unit.
2) 1 + N Redundancy. Use additional PSUs as the redundant units to increase reliability.
3) Single Use: Connecting only one Power Supply to one DR-RDN20 to reduce the stress of the diodes and increase reliability.
