The governor of Pennsylvania has ordered that all life-sustaining businesses can continue operating physical locations. TRC Electronics is a life-sustaining business as defined in Pennsylvania’s Industry Operation Guidance.

Business guidance in Pennsylvania is also aligned with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Advisory designated by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) of the Department of Homeland Security.
TRC Electronics is a distributor of electronic power components to critical manufacturers which are “needed for medical supply chains, and for supply chains associated with transportation, energy, communications, food and agriculture, chemical manufacturing, nuclear facilities, the operation of dams, water and wastewater treatment, emergency services, and the defense industrial base.” In addition, these electronic power components are crucial to the repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. It would be challenging to find an industry sector that doesn’t require electronic power components to manufacturer products or provide services that are vital to this country’s health and safety.
TRC Electronics, a life-sustaining business, has executed the following actions to ensure business continuity and limit disease spread.
- All workers that can perform their job remotely are operating from home and are fully functional. This team is completely connected to the IT infrastructure of our company.
- All essential workers that are unable to perform their job remotely are operating at our physical location. They are divided into teams with different shift hours/days to reduce likelihood of spreading the disease and to ensure continuous business operation.
- The essential workers operating at our facility are practicing social distancing.
- TRC Electronics is not accepting any visitors to our physical location.
- TRC Electronics has restricted all business travel.
