MEAN WELL’s LPV-60 LED Constant Voltage Series is one of the most popular LED power supplies sold in the LED lighting industry. This constant voltage LED power supply is rated at 60 watts with an AC input voltage range from 90~264Vac. The six standard models offered convert the AC voltage into 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V and 48V DC outputs. These DC voltages are common in the lighting industry.

 

The unbeatable cost/performance ratio of the MEAN WELL LPV-60 LED power supplies make the LPV-60 series a popular 60 watt LED power supply solution for many LED lighting professionals. Its compact size, convenient mounting tabs, as well as its IP67 rating, allow the LPV-60 series to be mounted on various surfaces indoor or outdoor and suitable for wet or dusty environments. The most common use of the MEAN WELL LPV-60 LED power supplies is LED strip lights including: single color output, RGB and RGBW. Other common uses of this versatile LED driver are: LED fixtures, LED channel lettering and LED lighted appliances. The LPV-60 series mechanical configuration enables panel mount configurations for home audio, theatre and LED lighted furniture.

 

The LPV-60-12, LPV-60-15, LPV-60-24, LPV-60-36 and LPV-60-48 are UL1310 Class 2 power supplies and are UL recognized to Pass Limited Power Source (Pass LPS) rating. The entire LPV-60 series has Class II Isolation and can withstand 300Vac surge for 5 seconds. This constant voltage LED power supply is UL879 & UL1310 approved with the exception of the LPV-60-5 model. UL879 approval provides listing in the UL Sign Component Manual (SAM) which is a database for qualified components in building and electric signs. The utilization of the LPV-60 can speed up the approval process because the UL879 SAM listing means the LPV-60 was tested and approved to meet the safety and installation requirements outlined in the National Electric Code, NFPA 70.
