The Genesis® NP & NPX Series combines more than a century of EnerSys battery manufacturing expertise with modern AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) design, creating a leak-proof, non-spillable power solution engineered for durability and efficiency. NP models deliver excellent float and cyclic performance—offering 3–5 years of expected float service life—while the NPX Series provides high-rate discharge capability tailored for UPS and backup applications requiring short-duration bursts of power. These batteries feature heavy-duty lead-calcium grids for long life, recombination technology for over 99% gas recovery, low self-discharge rates of approximately 3% per month, and robust safety valve systems. Supported by a wide range of capacities, layouts, and terminals, the Genesis NP & NPX Series is a versatile, dependable choice for applications including telecom, emergency lighting, security systems, portable equipment, and energy storage.
