Hammond 1551 Series Hand Held Enclosures

The Hammond Manufacturing 1551 Series is a family of miniature ABS plastic enclosures designed for mounting small printed circuit boards, potting applications, and compact electronic devices. Available in black, gray, or translucent blue, these lightweight enclosures feature molded-in PC board standoffs, lap joint construction, and an IP54 design. Standard, mounting flange, and key ring configurations provide flexible options for a variety of compact electronic applications.

About Hammond 1551 Series Hand Held Enclosures:

Hammond Manufacturing 1551 Series miniature enclosures provide a compact and versatile housing solution for small printed circuit boards, electronic assemblies, and potting applications. Constructed from general-purpose ABS plastic with 2 mm thick walls, the enclosures incorporate two or four molded-in PC board standoffs, depending on size, to simplify PCB installation. Lap joint construction provides protection against dust and splashing water, with the enclosures designed to meet IP54. Standard models are available in black, gray, or translucent blue, while versions with integrated mounting flanges are available in black or gray for convenient wall mounting or suspension with a tie wrap. Select sizes are also offered with integrated key rings for portable applications. With multiple dimensions, compact 15 mm and 20 mm depth options, color-matched self-tapping lid screws, and a broad range of configurations, the 1551 Series gives designers flexibility when packaging compact electronic devices.
