About Hammond 1554 Series Watertight Enclosures:

Engineered for durability and long-term performance, Hammond's 1554 Series enclosures combine rugged construction with installation flexibility. Polycarbonate models are UV-stabilized for outdoor use and meet demanding environmental ratings including NEMA Type 4X, 6P, 12, and 13 as well as IP66, IP67, and IP68 protection levels. ABS versions provide an economical solution for indoor applications while maintaining excellent impact resistance and IP66 performance. Each enclosure features a replaceable high-temperature silicone gasket, corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware, and a two-piece tongue-and-groove sealing system that helps prevent the ingress of water, dust, and oils. Internal DIN rail mounting tabs, brass inserts, PCB standoffs, and molded card guides simplify component installation and system integration. Available with gray, clear, or smoked lids and supported by a wide range of accessories including inner panels, cord grips, breather kits, and pole mounting kits, the Hammond 1554 Series delivers a dependable enclosure solution for industrial controls, communications equipment, instrumentation, and outdoor electrical installations.
