About Hammond 1555F Series Flanged Enclosures:

Engineered for demanding applications, the Hammond 1555F Series combines robust environmental protection with installation convenience. Its flanged design simplifies secure wall mounting while concealing lid fasteners behind the enclosure for added security and a clean appearance. The recessed lid surface accommodates membrane keypads, overlays, and product labeling, making it ideal for user-interface applications. A high-temperature silicone gasket and precision tongue-and-groove construction help protect internal components from water, dust, oil, and contaminants, while corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware ensures long-term durability in challenging conditions. Polycarbonate models are UV stabilized for outdoor use and independently tested to meet IP66, IP67, and IP68 ingress protection ratings as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12, and 13 standards. Internal DIN rail mounting tabs, PCB standoffs, and optional galvanized steel inner panels provide flexibility for system integration. Available in multiple sizes and depths, the Hammond 1555F Series is an excellent choice for industrial automation, communications equipment, outdoor controls, security systems, and OEM electronic applications.
