About Hammond 1590Z Series Diecast Enclosures:

Designed for demanding applications where durability and environmental protection are critical, the Hammond 1590Z Series combines robust diecast aluminum construction with advanced sealing technology. Each enclosure features a precision-machined tongue-and-groove design and a replaceable high-temperature silicone gasket rated from -40°C to +150°C, providing dependable protection against water and dust ingress. Independently tested to meet IP66, IP67, and IP68 ingress protection standards as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12, and 13 requirements, the 1590Z Series is well suited for both indoor and outdoor installations. Recessed stainless steel lid screws and corrosion-resistant hardware support repeated maintenance access, while external mounting holes allow secure wall installation without compromising the enclosure seal. Available in natural aluminum, textured black, and smooth gray powder-coated finishes, these enclosures offer flexibility for a wide range of industrial, OEM, telecommunications, and control system applications. Optional galvanized steel inner panels and a variety of enclosure sizes further simplify system integration and customization.
