About Hammond 1593 Series Hand Held Enclosures:

Hammond Manufacturing 1593 Series hand held and instrument enclosures provide a versatile housing solution for printed circuit boards, portable electronics, control devices, and electronic instruments. Constructed from general-purpose ABS plastic with a satin texture, the enclosures combine an ergonomic shape with a recessed top surface suitable for membrane displays or keypads. The series offers multiple configurations to support different design requirements, including models with removable end panels for convenient customization and models with integrated battery compartments and doors for portable, battery-powered equipment. Select sizes include both flat and contoured end panels to match the enclosure profile, while versions without a battery door are designed to meet IP54 requirements. The enclosures are secured with self-tapping screws and are offered in black, gray, or transparent blue. A variety of compatible accessories, including infrared panels, aluminum end panels, PC boards, PCB mounting screws, and belt clips, further expands the flexibility of the 1593 Series for custom electronic designs.
