About Hammond 1455 Series Extruded Aluminum Enclosures:

Hammond Manufacturing 1455 Series extruded aluminum enclosures combine rugged construction with flexible configuration options for electronic and PCB applications. The enclosure body is constructed from extruded aluminum with a minimum thickness of 0.06 inches (1.5 mm), while integrated internal card slots simplify horizontal PCB installation. Many sizes incorporate a removable sliding plate for easier access to internal components, and the series includes models with either aluminum or plastic end plates. Versions with metal end plates include two color-matched aluminum panels and two black open plastic bezels, while plastic end plate versions include two closed black end panels. The 1455 Series is offered in numerous enclosure dimensions and clear, black, blue, and red anodized finishes, depending on the model, providing designers with options for different board sizes, equipment requirements, and product appearances. A comprehensive selection of accessories further expands design flexibility, including replacement plastic bezels and end caps, aluminum end panels, and flanged end panel kits for compatible models.
