Inission Power MDP1200 UC/PC Medical Power Supplies

Inission Power MDP1200 UC and PC Series medical-grade AC/DC power supplies combine high-efficiency power conversion, advanced patient protection, and fanless operation for demanding medical and healthcare equipment applications. Designed to deliver 750W of continuous regulated DC power with 180 to 305VAC input and 600W with 90 to 137VAC input, the series also provides up to 1200W of peak power for less than 10 seconds under specified input conditions. Available with single 24VDC or 48VDC outputs, these power supplies achieve up to 94% efficiency and incorporate active power factor correction to help minimize energy losses and heat generation. The MDP1200 Series is offered in two compact 1U-compatible configurations: an open U-shaped chassis (UC) and a U-chassis with protective ventilated covers (PC) over the AC and DC connection areas. Both versions utilize natural convection cooling, eliminating the need for fans and making them particularly suitable for noise-sensitive medical environments. Integrated PMBus 1.2 communication enables digital monitoring of input voltage, output voltage, output current, temperature, operating hours, and system status. Additional control features include remote on/off, power-good indication, remote sensing, and adjustable output voltage. Built-in current sharing and OR-ing functionality support parallel operation of up to four units for increased power capacity or N+1 redundancy. The series also provides 12VDC and 5VDC standby outputs and comprehensive protection against input undervoltage, output overcurrent, short circuits, overvoltage, and overtemperature conditions. Designed for operating temperatures from -20°C to +70°C with appropriate derating above 35°C, the MDP1200 UC and PC Series meets IEC/EN 60601-1 medical safety requirements, provides 2 x MOPP isolation under specified input conditions, supports BF-rated medical equipment applications, and complies with IEC 60601-1-2 4th edition EMC requirements. Its compact 41 mm profile makes it well suited for X-ray and CT scanners, dental equipment, laboratory analyzers, medical diagnostic systems, and other healthcare applications requiring dependable, medically approved power.
