MEAN WELL DRS-240 & DRS-480 DIN Rail Power Supplies

The MEAN WELL DRS-240 and DRS-480 Series combine multiple power management functions into a single DIN rail-mounted AC/DC power supply, helping simplify system integration while reducing the need for separate power supplies, battery chargers, and DC-UPS modules. The DRS-480 Series delivers up to 480W of combined output power and supports nominal 24VDC, 36VDC, and 48VDC systems, with a universal 90 to 305VAC input range and efficiencies reaching up to 93.5%. Its integrated DC-UPS functionality automatically switches to battery power within 10 milliseconds of AC failure, helping maintain operation in critical security and backup applications. An intelligent battery charging system automatically adjusts charging current based on load demand and supports lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, with selectable two-stage or three-stage charging profiles and adjustable charging current from 20% to 100%. Built-in MODBus communication, optional CANBus connectivity, Form-C relay contacts, and LED indicators provide system monitoring and alarm signaling for AC failure, low battery, charger failure, and DC output status. Additional protection features include short circuit, overload, overvoltage, overtemperature, battery reverse polarity, and low battery cutoff protection. The DRS-480 Series also features fanless convection cooling, an operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C with applicable derating, and compatibility with standard TS-35 DIN rails.
