MEAN WELL IOB-15 Series Power Modules

The MEAN WELL IOB-15 Series delivers a reliable 15W on-board AC/DC power solution for industrial, automation, and smart device applications requiring high efficiency and compact design. Operating across a wide universal AC input range of 85–305 Vac (100–430 Vdc), the IOB-15 provides output voltages from 3.3V to 24V DC, achieving efficiencies up to 85% with ultra-low standby power consumption below 0.25W.

This series is available in three configurations to suit different installation requirements:

Gold Finger (A) for direct PCB edge connection, offering quick assembly and space-saving integration.

Horizontal (B) for low-profile applications where vertical space is limited.

Vertical (C) for compact boards needing a minimal footprint and optimized airflow.

Built for durability and versatility, the IOB-15 Series operates reliably from -40°C to +80°C using free-air convection cooling. It includes full protection features—short circuit, overload, over-voltage, and over-temperature—to ensure consistent and safe performance. The module is certified to IEC62368-1 safety standards and meets EMC Class B (with external components), making it ideal for use in industrial control systems, power metering, communication equipment, and smart home devices.
