MEAN WELL XDR-960 High-End DIN Rail Power

Designed for high-performance industrial environments, the XDR-960 Series supports an ultra-wide 85 to 305 VAC input range with active power factor correction and compatibility with 277 VAC systems, making it suitable for worldwide installations. As outlined on page 1 of the datasheet, its ultra-slim 96 mm enclosure optimizes DIN rail space while maintaining excellent thermal performance through a fanless, free-air convection design. Typical efficiency reaches up to 96 percent with low no-load power consumption of approximately 1.5 W, helping reduce heat and energy costs.

The XDR-960 Series delivers 960 W of continuous output power with standard output voltages of 24, 36, and 48 VDC. It supports up to 200 percent peak power capability and an impressive 600 percent transient peak current capacity to handle motor starts, inductive loads, and capacitive inrush conditions. Built-in MODBus RTU communication enables real-time monitoring, configuration, and control, while integrated current sharing allows parallel operation of up to four units for total output power up to 3840 W.

Additional system-level features include remote ON and OFF control, DC OK relay contact for status monitoring, constant current limiting, an integrated ORing FET for redundancy protection, ultra-low inrush current, and conformal coating for basic moisture and dust resistance.
