TRACO Power TMR 1 Regulated DC/DC Converters

The TRACO Power TMR 1 Series is a family of compact 1 watt isolated DC/DC converters featuring fully regulated outputs and wide 2:1 input voltage ranges. Designed in a space-saving SIP-6 package, the series provides 1,500 VDC input-to-output isolation, continuous short circuit protection, and operation from -40°C to +95°C. With single and dual output models, no minimum load requirement, and a cost-optimized design, the TMR 1 Series provides a versatile power conversion solution for communication equipment, instrumentation, industrial electronics, and other space-sensitive applications.

About TRACO Power TMR 1 Regulated DC/DC Converters:

The TRACO Power TMR 1 Series combines regulated 1 watt DC/DC conversion with wide 2:1 input voltage ranges of 4.5 to 9, 9 to 18, 18 to 36, and 36 to 75 VDC, covering nominal 5, 12, 24, and 48 VDC input systems. Single-output models provide regulated 5, 12, 15, or 24 VDC outputs, while dual-output versions are available with ±12 or ±15 VDC outputs, with efficiencies reaching up to 80%. The series requires no minimum load and incorporates continuous short circuit protection with automatic recovery, foldback overload protection, and output current limiting for dependable operation. Additional performance capabilities include ±1% maximum voltage set accuracy, 1,500 VDC input-to-output isolation, operation at altitudes up to 6,000 meters, and a calculated MTBF of 2.8 million hours. Its compact SIP-6 through-hole package measures approximately 17.0 x 11.0 x 7.62 mm, helping conserve PCB space in compact system designs. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +95°C, UL 94 V-0 rated housing and potting materials, recognized safety standards including UL 62368-1 and IEC 62368-1, and a 3-year product warranty, the TMR 1 Series is engineered for reliable use in communication equipment, instrumentation, industrial electronics, and distributed power applications.
