TRACO Power TSR 0.5 DC/DC Converters (POL)

TRACO Power TSR 0.5 Series switching regulators deliver up to 500mA of output current with fixed output voltage options ranging from 1.5VDC to 15VDC. Depending on the selected model, input ranges extend up to 32VDC, providing flexibility for a variety of low-power DC/DC conversion requirements. Efficiency reaches up to 97%, enabling full-load operation at ambient temperatures up to +80°C without forced-air cooling, while operation at up to +90°C is supported with 50% load. The converters also feature low standby current, excellent output voltage accuracy, no minimum load requirement, continuous short-circuit protection with automatic recovery, and over-temperature protection. Their compact SIP3 through-hole footprint measures just 11.5 x 7.55 x 10.2 mm, making the series particularly attractive when upgrading LM78-based designs where PCB space, energy efficiency, and thermal performance are important considerations.
