TRACO Power TSR 1SM DC/DC Converters (POL)

TRACO Power TSR 1SM Series switching regulators deliver up to 1A of output current and include models optimized for 5V, 12V, and 24V nominal input systems. The family provides fixed outputs ranging from 1.2VDC through 15VDC, with select models accepting input voltages as high as 36VDC. Efficiency reaches up to 96%, allowing full-load operation at ambient temperatures up to +65°C without a heat transmission layer, while the overall operating range extends from -40°C to +85°C. Electrical performance includes ±2% maximum output voltage accuracy, 0.2% maximum line regulation, low standby current of approximately 1mA, no minimum load requirement, and integrated filter capacitors. Continuous short-circuit protection with automatic recovery, output current limiting, and over-temperature protection further enhance reliability. The series uses natural convection cooling and is tested for vibration and thermal shock according to MIL-STD-810F. Designed for automated PCB assembly, its SMD10 surface-mount package supports lead-free reflow soldering and has a compact footprint of approximately 15.2 × 9.3 mm, as detailed in the mechanical drawing on page 4 of the datasheet.
